Alignment Coaching: The Missing Element in Business Coaching

William Bergquist and John Lazar published an article in the first issue of The International Journal of Coaching in Organizations that concerned a frequently overlooked professional coaching strategy. This strategy is alignment coaching. It concerns such matters as the alignment of behavior and decision-making with values, personal goals and ethics. In addition, this article provides a coaching taxonomy and a distinction between three kinds of coaching issues (puzzles, problems and mysteries).
