Benefits for Those Coming to the Coach Quad from the Internet

First, the potential customers come to the Coach Quad because they know that all services/products on the Quad are of high quality and directly related to the field of professional coaching (or indirectly related to the field of professional coaching—but in an interesting way)

Second, the Coach Quad enables those visiting the Quad to do “one-stop shopping” We don’t have to wander all over the Internet to find the coaching services/products they need. This is where the Mall analogy breaks down. The Quad provides a very focused set of products and services. An appropriate analogy would be the high-end marketplaces (such as the Pike Street market in Seattle) that offer a wide variety of foods. An even more ancient analogy is the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul that has been the site of independently sold goods for many centuries.

Third, the Quad can be a place where those visiting the Quad can do some very important, focused networking. We turn to another analogy. We go to conferences in order to network, not just (or even) attend conference sessions. The Coach Quad can provide just such a network without one having to leave their home.

Fourth, those coming to the Quad will find that there are very interesting and diverse perspectives being offered. A lovely and loving analogy can be drawn. The Coach Quad resembles the Commons, Plazas and City Squares that are found in many cities and small towns around the world. It is on these Commons that soap box orators offer diverse perspectives and independent sellers hawk their wares. A farmer’s market is often commonly convened at this meeting place. The Coach Quad is being designed and built to provide a similarly welcoming site for the offering of multiple perspectives, services and products—all related to the field of professional coaching.

Fifth, by occasionally (or frequently) coming to the Coach Quad, one gains a better sense of what is happening overall (and globally) in the field of professional coaching. There are numerous sources of information on the Coach Quad—ranging from digital libraries to publishing magazines and newsletter. One might think of these sources of information as the newsstands that are located in the edge of the Commons and Plazas in many cities.
